Black Mental Wellness Conference

With this year's theme, "Reclaiming Our Power and Protecting Our Peace," the 6th annual Black Mental Wellness Conference will be bringing discussions of the past, present, and future of mental wellness to the forefront.

According to the organization, "since 2020, our conference has brought together over 1,000 attendees — from psychologists and educators to advocates, families, and allies — who are committed to transformative change."

This annual event is designed for women who want to imagine future career or business opportunities and begin taking action toward realizing those goals. Day 1 is focused on careers and leadership while Day 2 focuses on business and entrepreneurship.
This year's theme: Rebound. Recover. Rally.

The theme is intended to acknowledge challenges, career and business resilience, and transition. This year’s event is designed for mid- to senior-level professional women who are navigating career pivots, business growth, or leadership transitions—and who are ready to take decisive action.

Turn Awareness Into Action

According to Mental Health America, this conference "will bring together experts, innovators, and advocates who are implementing strategies that work — approaches that improve mental health care, expand access, and create lasting change."
As advocates for holistic approaches to wellness, our team is looking forward to connecting with mental health professionals and attendees at the event!

Melissa currently sits on a non-profit board and does some pro bono work for non profits and community organizations focused on criminal justice, education equity, diversity equity and inclusion, and women’s equality.
