Each year, EViE holds several educational courses and participates in events throughout the country for the purpose of connecting with and empowering community residents, small business owners, and individuals

Real-World Wealth Building Workshop

Melissa has been invited to speak at the National Urban League's forum Dollars & Sense: The Future of Jobs & the Power of the Black Dollar as part of a conversation about wealth building, today's economic landscape, and the journey to financial freedom!

According to the NUL, the event will "bring together leaders in government, business, culture, media, and grassroots advocacy to explore the challenges confronting Black communities, and creates opportunities for professional and economic advancement," and we're so excited for Melissa to be a part of it.

55th National Training Program

This event aims to connect federally employed women with each other and with a multitude of opportunities for learning and development. Attendees will gain knowledge and skills to help them advance their careers and personal development, and will find support and advocacy via FEW's mission to "improve the status of women employed by the Federal government."

This promises to be a fun, engaging, and enlightening event! We look forward to meeting everyone, and contributing to the atmosphere of education and empowerment.

Retirement Planning Today Course
2  Two-Session Course Options Available:

This comprehensive two-class course offers numerous insights into retirement planning education, strategies, and must-know tips. We also discuss recent changes to retirement savings plans, social security, Medicare, and pension benefits, and allow for participants to meet with us one-on-one to review current

and potential strategies.

This event is designed for women who want to imagine future career or business opportunities and begin taking action toward realizing those goals. Day 1 is focused on careers and leadership while Day 2 focuses on business and entrepreneurship.

Our Commitment
to the Community

In addition to community-focused education events, we also support causes that both we and our clients care about. Melissa currently sits on a non-profit board and does some pro bono work for non profits and community organizations focused on criminal justice, education equity, diversity equity and inclusion, and women’s equality.
